Coming home to my bundles of joy makes life great! They love our attention, the entertain, and they snuggle! Snuggled up on the couch with Lexi and Boo - here comes jack with his ginormous bone! Closely followed by Selena and her "baby"... Her "baby" is a tiny squeaky bear toy.. She snuggles it, sleeps with it as her pillow, wrestles for it.., and yes she fetches! Even small dogs learn tricks! Having four little dogs can sometimes seem like a handful... But it is moments like these that make it all worthwhile! They all cozy up to the man with the treats! Dancing on their hind legs and waiting in anticipation for Treats! They all get along for the most part - we have our occasional spout over bones and jealously for human attention! More recently puppy Jack and our Selena have been wrestiling and playing together! Providing for great entertainment around the house... Jack is barely recognizable as the puppy in the pictures as he is almost full grown... In person you would have no doubt with his mischievous and energetic puppy personality! I was concerned when I received a picture from my husband today with the caption "puppies discovering apples" So I did my research... Now it's important to add that although only one of our dogs is a puppy - they are all exceptionally small weighing under 4lbs and we therefore have to be extra cautious of large animals, small children, and poisons! And thankfully Apples are Safe in moderation! However the seeds are another story... And should be removed before sharing a snack with your fur children! Well jack finally reached that age and it was time for him to "loose his manhood" or at least that is what I'm calling it! It's hard to believe how small he use to be (yeah I hear you he is still tiny weighing in at under 3lbs) Surgery went well despite my fur mommy concerns.. And the stitches are healing nicely. Just 4 more days and he can have them removed... You would hardly know he went through surgery as he was rough housing and running all over by the time I arrived home from work! I awoke to a pack of teacup Yorkies clawing on the side of bed... They won - snuggled up on the bed for a Sunday morning slumber party! Ok so it's not a teacup Yorkie but how adorable is this 11 week!?! She was so busy enjoying the 4th celebrations that she fell asleep against the boat wall! The pups came home from the groomer with the cutest Fourth of July bows!! It was not long before Jack (the puppy) had removed all of their bows :( They look so innocent in this photo... But Jack is a little mischievous one - he will hide your flip flops the minute you look away! We spent the next morning searching for Ava's flip flops! #puppyLove |
